In May of 2019, we gathered at drummer Jon Payne's home, The House on the Hill in Boulder Creek in the Santa Cruz Mountains, to record this album over the Memorial Day weekend.

In August of 2020, The House on the Hill was destroyed in the CZU Lightning Complex Fires. It was one of roughly 1,000 homes, most of them in Boulder Creek, lost to the fire, the most destructive natural disaster in Santa Cruz County history.

We are selling the music we made that weekend at Jon's home to raise money for victims of this tragic wildfire. You can buy the five songs to download for $1. That dollar, and any additional amount you choose to pay, will be donated to the Santa Cruz Community Foundation's Fire Relief Fund (less 15% paid to Bandcamp for hosting). Or, if you prefer, you can stream the music here and donate directly to the fund: www.cfscc.org/updates/fire-response-fund. Either way, your donation will go to support families in a time of compounded crisis. The album will be available exclusively here through the end of 2020.
